The Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy is a programme that is FREE of charge for all players across the different age-groups. We currently have five age-groups namely our under-13, under-15, under-17, under-19 and the reserve team. Our responsibility as a football club is to set and maintain a standard of excellence at the training rounds.
The Kaiser Chiefs U15 team competes in the Gauteng Development League, a platform designed to nurture young talent and provide them with the opportunity to progress through the club’s ranks. This league serves as a key stepping stone for aspiring footballers, with an emphasis on skill development, tactical awareness, and overall growth in the sport. Playing in the U15 Gauteng Development League gives young players from the club a chance to showcase their abilities, work with experienced coaches, and ultimately make their way into the senior teams.
As a club known for producing top-tier footballing talent, Kaiser Chiefs has focused heavily on developing its youth systems.
